Must have been the 70's, i don't recall it cropping up again, although i would probably have avoided it if it had been on.

Yes I remember this, really only memorable for the spats between Hotel Chambermaid (Thora Hird) & Mrs. Craik (Diana King) the dialogue was very amusing: Mrs. Craik: "Because She's a mean ungrateful little skivvy!" and so on.
