Lava.

Great fun film that a lot of people haven't seen.

Lava (2002)

Has similarities to "The Big Yellow." Hardly suprising as the writer/ director/ star of the film's brother wrote the big yellow.

Watched "The virgin of Liverpool" the other day after buying it from HK. Not released over here after the makers went bankrupt and it was seized as an asset. Very poor film.

A British film that shocked me was "The Big Nothing." Pretty much bombed when first released but is steadily gaining cult status. Worth a go if you can stomache it.

The Big Finish (2000)

I'd also recommend Mike Leigh's "Secrets and Lies" and "Life is Sweet." Two of my favorite films of all time.

Really glad to see "That'll Be The Day" and "Stardust" on your list though. Saw those about a year ago--Awesome!
