I wonder if the 1976 Gary Glitter film will make it to DVD, as he is getting lots of publicity at present....

I quite like Expresse Bongo bought it on DVD I had never seen it right the through rrough before. Interesting to note that Cliff didnt have very big parts in this or his first film"Serious Charge."

Elvis's part in Love Me Tender was a lot bigger than Cliffs in the above menetioned.

Also aired on TV occasionally is "Live It Up" with David Hemmings as a post office worker who forms a beat group with his mates.

The recently added thread by 'scenesixty' regarding Joe Meek and the new film Telstar, has a YouTube video clip from the above Hemmings film featuring Ritchie Blackmore and "The Outlaws".

"I want to be a sailor - sailing out to sea"

Lois Lane the singer has a small part (if you'll excuse the expression) in 'Crossplot' starring Roger Moore and of course our own Francis Matthews.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Anyone remember pop or rock documentaries shown at their local cinema in the seventies, my local cienmas would show such films for one night only, things like,"Monterey Pop," and"Woodstock" I remember seeing a triple bill no less in 1976 comprised of "Rory Gallaghers Irish Tour." "Pink Floyd. IN POMPEII" and real curiosity a film featuring Brian Auger and the Trinitiy, I can only describe this offering as a featurette as it was about forty odd minutes in length.

Its all a bit vague now it may I have had a bit of a swinging London type theme, something tells me that it may have been scritped with a very thin plot but as I say it was a long time ago.

Recently saw an interview on Australian TV with Frank Ifield just to let you know that he looks
wonderful still singing, not quite as much as before. Frank was saying that he had an operation on his throat and his voice was never quite the same...what a genuine man he seems to be.
Frank was very popular in Britain in the 60's.

One of my favourite groups of the 60.s was Sounds Incorporated does anyone know if there is dvd out there with the group performing, I would love to see them again.
