im sure i read somewhere that performance was financed on the basis that mick jagger was going to sing in it [ in fact the soundtrack was meant to be by the stones ] the backers thought they were going to get a beatles type film .......what a surprise they must have got !

at the other end of the scale ,much different from mid 60s merseybeat films which started this thread ,youve got 1979s great rock "n"roll swindle .not for the easily shocked that one i think

Hi everyone, my first post, I take it you are mostly from England judging by the number of great films you get to see, unfortunately out here in OZ we don't see them on Tv nor are they released on Dvd

The ABC show quite a lot of British Films on late night TV. Iv'e recorded loads of

em! ( I think we are posting in the wrong forum though, should be British Films & chat)
