Default 60s and 70s pop movies

Can anyone name any British 60s or 70s pop music vehicles apart from the Beatles films and Ferry Cross the Mersey and the Billy Fury film?

N.B. JamesM has re-written this entire post to assist urkelnuk to ensure his post didn't breach any rules and fir in the forum it is being moved to.

Not particularly helpful but "Mrs Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter" - the Herman and the Hermits vehicle from 1968 - is on TCM a lot at the moment. There was also "Catch Us If You Can" the Dave Clark Five vehicle from 1965 which was directed by John Boorman. The Monkees' "Head" also from 1968 is wonderful.
Did Freddie and The Dreamers have a movie vehicle? Should have done.

Freddie & The Dreamers made one film in 1966 which was released in early 1967. It was called CUCKOO PATROL with Kenneth Connor, Arthur Mullard and John Le Mesurier.

I'd love a copy of this if anyone has it....

Not a fan of the Dave Clark fan but I recall seeing this some time ago, Richard Chamberlain is in it, as is my fave character actress Judith Furse, in a non-speaking role as a Glamour model and as a Masseuse.......(don't ask!)

Dateline Diamonds can be found on Amazon. It includes performances by the Small Faces with Jimmy Winston in the line up and Kiki Dee.

Freddie and the Dreamers were also in "Every Days a Holiday" 1965, with John Leyton, Mike Sarne, and the Mojo's.

Filmed at Butlins Clacton.

Includes the usual suspects, Michael Ripper, Richard O'Sullivan and Liz Fraser.

CATCH US IF YOU CAN is a great film, but alas the DVD is cropped to 4:3...I guess we must hope that a R1 release turns up at some point; after all you'd think DC5 and John Boorman surely could sell more than a lot of stuff that gets released.

While we're on the subject, as I've been listening to Herman's Hermits recently I'm after excellent quality widescreen copies of the two HH films, HOLD ON! and MRS BROWN if anyone has them.

Beat Girl (1960) was shown on TV not too long ago so there should be some recordings around.

Asiamiles - I have both Herman's Hermits films on DVD's in widescreen mode (letterbox 4:3) recorded directly from TCM. I don't believe either have ever been issued or broadcast anamorphically anywhere.

I also have an excellent recording of Beat Girl...

Don't forget Up Jumped a Swagman (1965) - Frank Ifield. Watched it last week and very much enjoyed it!

And "Just For Fun" (the follow-up apparently) which i've just been lucky enough to trade from another member: an excellent film of its type, with a memorable perfomance of The Man From Nowhere by Jet Harris. Remember that bit like it was yesterday.
