Default All about....Julia
I've just discoverd "Being Julia" by Istvan Szabo !! A wonderfull film !!
(I write this thread here 'cos I think it's partly a British production)
Heu...I know I may talk too much about my "discoveries", but with reducted vocabulary, it's for me a way to share, and a basical link with other film-lovers (don't explain).....

The comparison with "All About Eve" is not only a coincidence at all !!
...great casting in the two cases anyway.

Yes, a really fine film. A shame that Rosemary Harris and Rita Tushingham were given such small amounts of screen time, though.

Bette Davis' role in the original ALL ABOUT EVE reminds me of a comment made by Humphrey Bogart when discussing Bette Davis -- "Even when I was carrying a gun, she scared the be-jesus out of me."
