If I asked you to judge the most successful British film of all time ,What would be the answer (I dont know myself!)
I would guess attendances ,though box office takings are often quoted,but how do you judge takings from say a 1930s film to a present day film,by percentage profit? by just by allowing for inflation? Or a combination of aforementioned factors and such criteria as acclaim, rental sales pre sales? What is the industry standard criteria and therefore what is the most successful British film of all time? |
