Carry On Girls - loved the seaside setting, the beautiful girls, and the final scenes of Sid James driving the Go Kart down the West Pier in Brighton.

OH!! By the way that she represented herself (how she was preceived ) in the films or because of something else entirely ?

Default 'Carry On' films

I've always loved the Carry On films, and what interests me the most is the cast, for example Kenneth Williams.

I was just wondering your views on the series of British comedy films.

aww........I love our Babs!, I recall when our wonderful Queen celebrated 50 years on the Throne their was a Motorcade down the Mall, and the Queen mentioned 'Barbara Windsor' when she was watching it, and our Babs was quite chuffed that HM knew who she was in a follow-up TV programme.......a true British icon if ever there was one!

I love the earlier Carry-on Movies, 'Carry on Spying' first drew my attention to Judith Furse as 'Doctor Crow' (Avatar) who interrogated Daphne Honeybutt (Babs) and wanting to know more about her also drew my attention to 'Black Narcissus', and from then on I've tried to get hold of everything she's appeared in!

Babs.......

Judith in 'Carry on Cabby'........

Of the colour ones, 'Convenience' and 'Camping' are probably my faves. However I much prefer the older black and white ones written by Norman Hudis (a much gentler, less bawdy kind of humour) and Cabby, Teacher and Constable would be high on my list.

An honourable mention must be given to Hattie Jacques in Carry On At Your Convenience. The Joey budgie scene is wonderful. Hattie is really acting her socks off here.

Carry On Loving with the lovely Jacki Piper

Charles Hawtrey just has to appear on screen and I'm in stitches.
