Favourite British Michael Caine Film.
My Faverat Caine philm Is The Black Windmill .. Caine takes up the chilling revenge trail when ruthless gunrunners kidnap his young son and demand a king's ransom in uncut diamonds for his boy's release ( Donald Pleasence Clive Revill and Janet Suzman are among those caught up with Cain in the deadly chase that ends at the infamous Black Windmill Some were in Britghton..

I'm a bit of a latecomer to this thread, but my favourite Michael Caine film is The Ipcress File. I think he gave his finest acting performance in Alfie. I loved how he spoke to the camera in such a naturalistic way, making something so difficult look effortless.

Regards
Phil Turner

There was a very good one written by Neil Simon; Caine and Maggie Smith were both very good but it, probably. wasn't British.

You mean California Suite (1978). You're right, it's not British, it's American
Maggie & Michael were just one of four couples staying at the hotel.
