I know some readers here have archived copies of Radio Times etc. I think it would be of great help if we could expand the BritMovie databaseto include UK TV broadcast information. This would go on to (eventually) list every British movie ever broadcast on UK TV with date, channel etc. This could be back-dated as far as possible, but would obviously be of most help from the start of the video recorder age (late 1970s).

I know that the BFI keep a record of TV dates and screening info, but something like on this site this would be extremely helpful. We could also add info as to which forum member has a direct off-air recording of a particular broadcast. Movies never broadcast could perhaps list alternate info such as Worldwide Video or DVD release info.

    Any thoughts?

I notice the genre site EOFFTV has put a few UK TV screening dates up.

    You're not alone Mysteries -

Around the same period I kept 'proper' diaries which, in part, also provided an insight into my viewing habits of the time.

Glad to say they were eventually destroyed though, leaving me to cope with just an ageing, fading memory.

Blimey! Is that a picture of you in your young trainspotting days DB7?

..actually I have to confess (just between you and I....) that I was a trainspotter when young (no anorak though), and it made me what I am today.

    Remind me, what am I?
