For me the best horror film ever

    'The Wicker man' (Scotland 1973)

    The worst horror film ever

    'The Wicker Man' (USA 2006)

Xtro - truly awful. Although it does have one redeeming feature ... Maryam D'Abo!

DOMINIQUE (Michael Anderson 1978): even such a stellar cast as Cliff Robertson, Jean Simmons, Jenny Agutter, Simon Ward, Judy Geeson, Ron Moody, Michael Jayston, Flora Robson, David Tomlinson and Jack Warner can't help to liven this tedious, sloooooooooooooooooow sub-Clouzot, sub-Sangster snoozefest

I'm probably repeating myself but 'The Lair of the White Worm' is incredibly crap considering its author.

I watched it on TV here recently & yes despite a truly memorable cast it is a dire borefest from start to finish!!!

The person who posted that the female lead of "The Descent" is ugly needs an eye test!

    The gorgeous Natalie Mendoza!!

The totally inept, unhorrific, unfunny, zombie comedy horror Boy Eats Girl, sometimes you get a horror film so bad it becomes amusing, but this was total junk.I also agree with several other posters that Creep hasn't got much going for it.

Beyond Bedlam (1993) was truly atrocious, a cast that includes Craig Fairbrass, Liz Hurley and Keith Allen should be enough to keep most people away..

Good song in it though. Plus a bit of nudity never hurt anyone!

    Some unbelievable choices on here.
Films like Trog (1970) or Psychomania (1972) are endlessly entertaining and even something like The Deadly Bees (1967) has a kitsch quality to it.

The Projected Man (1966) and The Vulture (1967) are pretty bad. Even so I have the DVD of the former and would love to get a DVD of the latter (I'm a glutton for punishment!).

This seems to be one of those 'marmite' films. I also found it to be a lot of twoddle; and boring twoddle at that!

With so many choices I find it impossible to name the best or worst of anything, but one fairly recent movie I'd nominate would be the abysmal "Lesbian Vampire Killers". What with its "Gavin & Stacey" stars, I was expecting something as witty as "Shaun Of The Dead", but in fact I found it tedious and deeply unfunny, a complete misfire.

Watched The Mummys Shroud the other evening - and whilst it may not be the worst Horror it was poor by Hammer standards.
