This Britmovie site is the reason the internet was invented. Tonight I am going to watch a Matter of Life & Death. The reason being that it is one of those films that give you something different on each viewing. I will report back on watched last night. There will be something new that I will discover tonight.

I am planning to watch The Silent Passenger, acquired via this very site. I am looking forward to it a lot ..... and am hoping The Boy Wonder doesn't wake up!

I've too many to choose from. Have The Baron boxset to work through, dvds everywhere, and Sky+ 80% full, and with Crimbo coming so little time.

I got the Baron box set in January for my Birthday, I was disappointed to start with but then I really got back into them. My favourite episode in the Maze.

Last night's plan to watch The Silent Passenger was destroyed by Mrs Bat not going out after all (she changed it to tonight and didn't tell me) and by her watching a recording of Cranford.

So, as I am on Boy Wonder-sitting duty tonight instead, it will be (if I can stay awake) a triple bill of detectives for me ....

The Silent Passenger - a Lord Peter Wimsey story with Donald Wolfit and John Loder

Murder on Approval - with Tom Conway as Tom 'The Duke' Martin in a sequel to Breakaway

The Falcon's Adventure - Tom Conway's last appearance as Tom 'The Falcon' Lawrence

You may call me sad, if you like, but it's Christmas and, to me, that means it's a "Carry On" Christmas. This time of year, I watch all of the Carry On films in order. I have my favourites, but I still watch them all and realise just how good they are!

On Christmas Day, I'm planning to watch "Ending Up" (with thanks to one of the kind members on here).
