Has anyone ever seen the little known 1986 version?.It was filmed in Canada and starred Rita Tushingham.Excellent film.A great blend of horror and black comedy.

Unfortunately I only have it on an old video.

Yup, I have this on a DVD that was transferred from a good videotape.



Rita says that this film was absolutely slated by the critics. Based on a Ruth Rendell novel, and Ruth Rendell didn't like the film either!



The worst acting, IMHO, is done by Jackie Burroughs, who plays her slut-turned-religious-freak quite over the top.



Probably should best be watched on Halloween, along with Rocky Horror Picture Show, and other so-bad-they're-funny pics.
