to be fair gvs did it shot by shot because he was contracted by the studio and wanted to show how pointless a remake was. Anyway, blood on sd... Linda hayden's best performance but nothing special in my book, i think there's an unnecessary rape scene too. So a no from me!

Thanks Pye Thankfully, however, I'd already ordered it and indeed it arrived this week and I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

There were some gratuitous elements, especially in terms of nudity... but I don't think the rape scene was as anywhere near as graphic as in say 'Death Wish' or 'Straw Dogs'. If felt the rape scene was necessary in confirming the total cold depravity of the young people's behaviour in a way nothing much else could have.
