To reply to both your previous posts goldenmeadow, no, Beryl Reid was definitely not...in fact she said she wouldn't do any sort of sex scene in TKOSG, nor was she at all keen on kissing Susannah York (but that may have been for other reasons - Richard Harris felt pretty much the same!). If any of the stars batted for the other side on that film it was (allegedly) Coral Browne, who (allegedly) liked to dabble.

There is another quote she was starring opposite an actor who took her fancy she mentioned it to someone in the cast to be told he was gay. She bet the the other actor a £1 ( which dates the story) she would f**k him that day. Sure enough she made her move they laughed and joked the rest of the day and left together after the show. I read on Google (I think!) that when the film went on general release, some of the gay women who participated in the club scene(s) at The Gateway's club were 'identified' and went on to lose their jobs!! -how awful!!

I doubt that. Looking at most of them, their sexuality can hardly have come as a surprise to their employers. And those that weren't extras knew they were in a flippin' film.
