I could do one at work ... Celebrity Psychiatric Nurse in a Secure Unit for Mentally Ill Offenders. Trouble is they probably wouldn't let the buggers out again and we'd be lumbered with them!

Bats.

Happy Birthday Daddy .... I love you!

Marco and his ilk are just bloody hash slingers, not Holbeins, Chopins or Shelleys.
And to tell a complaining customer to apologise or leave!
I would have asked him to put me out himself - I may be getting on, but I can still kick a nadger at close range!

Why not call it Hellesden's Kitchen?

They're not bad people .... besides, I look upon everyone with unconditional positive regard! No matter how unwell some people are (and I mean real people, not just 'celebrities'), they can all achieve recovery to some degree. That's why my job is so interesting, you have to look beyond the act that has brought them to where they are and then work with the person's symptoms, insight and personality. It can be very rewarding.

Bats.

Happy Birthday Daddy .... I love you!

Sorry, Jackdaw, but John McCririck is definitely an exception! I wouldn't even let him IN!
Every series he turns up with his picnic hamper and every time he complains that the food is inedible - everything he does is just to get himself noticed which, I believe, Marco pointed out quite correctly.
If I had been in charge, he would have left WEARING the picnic hamper............internally.
They should just stop inviting him!

PS - And now we have his ruddy wife trying to get in on the act! If she's bored because the kids are all at school now, why doesn't she take up knitting?

Hello, Starry.
The bloke I saw being shown out wasn't a zeleb, though it's hard to tell these days.
As for McCririck, he's made a lot of money by acting up to, and over, his eccentric persona, and so upsetting Marco just highlights the brand.
One thing in his favour though, he speaks out against the abuse of the whip in racing, and I can't say I've heard too many others in the sport do the same.

True enough, and also in fairness to McCririck, before he came along you would never have known from TV racing broadcasts that there were such things as betting shops or their customers.
On the debit side, he also talks an awful amount of rubbish about betting; the incredible profits bookies are meant to make off racing, and so on. And finally, that isn't an act...in person he really is as obnoxious and offensive as he appears on TV...early in his TV career my firm used to employ him from time to time to open new branches....but there were so many complaints from the female staff over his wandering hands that we soon stopped. This was long before he had developed his 'Celebrity' status.

Bit of a Bay Window, what??

Perhaps we should put him in touch with Liz Fraser .

Quote ...Yep, in last week's Daily Mail (someone's got to read it - check the circulation figures) Liz Fraser reckoned that one her greatest regrets was "not letting a certain film producer grope my breasts" ... Quote
