A few months ago I had a little rave about one of my favourite actors, Tom Hollander, who was superb in Gracie. Now he has popped up in a delightful little programme called Rev. I notice that there have been no comments by the faithful so what do the pundits think?

    Just watched the second episode.

The humour is right up my street. Unfortunately, that may mean that it won't appeal to a mainstream audience.

Anyway - thumbs up from me :-)

It's OK, not as good as I thought it would be. . .

I like it. Mind you, I wish greater use was made of Olivia Colman, though. She's a bit wasted.

I like Tom Hollander, brilliant in 'The Thick Of It'

and a sitcom that I can't remember the title of,where

he stayed (uninvited) with a married couple and drove

them to distraction.Shown last year on BBC2 I believe?

Sadly,REV is one of those 'so what' programmes for me,

in that, whilst I watch it and enjoy it,I feel there are

missed opportunities all over the place.Clues as to how

great it could have been,(instead of being just okay)are

all over the show, but it somehow never quite makes it.

Still,it's a galaxy away from (and superior to)the dreadful

'Miranda' that I caught a couple of episodes of,during the

    recent footballing frenzy!
