The information on the IMDb doesn't need to rely on agents or production companies. If it did then there wouldn't be anywhere near as much useful information on there, it also wouldn't be as reliable. Agents lie, production companies lie. I'm not saying that everything on there is 100% accurate but it's a lot more accurate than it would be if you just relied on agents, production companies and the actors themselves.

The IMDb have made it quite possible, and quite easy, for us to add or correct any information on there. If you don't do that then you forfeit your right to complain about the information that is on there or about any information not being on there

I enjoyed it. It was lightweight (especially for David Hare) when compared to something like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, but it was well made and the acting was OK, even Bill Nighy managed to keep himself in check. Worth a look for spy fans.

Our "friends" tortured people, you could have knocked me over with a feather I was so shocked, good job nobody told the Home Sec, MI5 officers do not resign or go on the run when they discover politicians are lying to us and The House if they did there would be none left

I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the fact that I didn't spot any grammatical howlers in the script. At one point, Bill Nighy ( I think) refers to "His Majesty's government" but I assume this was to make clear the action wasn't happening in the present day.

I thought it was nicely underplayed by Bill and Rachel and would be happy to watch a series with these characters in, a sort of spy series 'Wallender' which I enjoy for the same reasons.
