Wasn't too impressed.I wasn't at all convinced by the staging of the scenes depicting the Great War.I watched the Anzacs mini series(at long last) over the previous 5 nights and thought it was a fitting and sympathetic tribute.In answer to Tigon man's statement.I didn't feel a tear well up during Birdsong,more a felling of ho-hum is that it?,but the last 2 episodes of Anzacs had some very moving moments.
