Default favourite episode of Man in a Suitcase

I watched which way did he go,Mcgill last night. This is probably my favourite episode for various reasons, the locations, the fight scene, Donald Sutherland. Does anyone have this as their favourite or can they detail their own fave episode??

Day of Execution -another Donald Sutherland episode- is my personal fave as Sutherland plays such a snivelling little character. Besides this it also has TP McKenna and all that wonderful Mariocki stuff. Close behind comes Variation On A Million Bucks, with the ever-reliable Anton Rodgers and the luscious Gay Hamilton (also scrummy as Magda in Castle In The Clouds).

Great performance by John Gregson in his episode (Andorra ?) but Judy Geeson is pretty bad in Sweet Sue - as is the silly slapstick in Jigsaw Man, but it does have the lovely Bridget Armstrong to make up for it.

Of course the BRILLIANT Colin Blakeley gets not one but two episodes - and so he should !

I guess you could say I quite like MIAS....

I agree with Smudge about the slapstick in 'Jigsaw Man', that has to be the worst episode.

My favourites are 'Man From The Dead', 'Why They Killed Nolan', 'Dead Man's Shoes' and 'Essay In Evil'. All four of these IMHO feature some of the best writing and performances in the series.

The John Gregson episode in 'Burden of Proof', also very good, with an unusual ending.

MIAS is my favourite TV show ever!

Likewise, Bats. My favourites are Essay In Evil (some great acting from all concerned but especially Peter Vaughan and John Cairney,) The Boston Square and The Sitting Pigeon (good work from George Sewell). Brainwash is a real tour de force and I agree about the ending of Burden Of Proof - that wouldn't happen in The Saint or any other ITC series.

I forget the episode title, but the one with a very young Felicity Kendal as a blind aristocrat, up against Marius Goring reprising his Conductor from A Matter of Life and Death......mostly because of Felicity Kendal in a mini-skirt, I'm afraid....

I shall watch that episode again as I love John Gregson(I have his autograph) with regard to favourite shows, Danger Man was always my favourite from an early age, but as I get older MIAS is vying with it neck and neck. I always feel that McGill was so true to life and the fights were incredible. Great Great Show and Mr. Bradford gave McGill so much life, it would be great to meet him.

I always thought Richard Bradford had a Brando-esque quality about him, I believe the two were friends and appeared in a film together called "The Chase". I think the series owes its watchability and success to the charisma of Bradford and his super cool super realsitic syle! If I were to pick out two ITC series to take to a desert Island I would take MIAS and "The Prisoner" and if I were to take one I think it might be MIAS!......

Bradford and Brando were great friends for many years .... Bradford also appears in a small role in The Missouri Breaks. Bradford freely acknowledges that he based his style on Brando who was his acting 'hero'. If Steve McQueen was the coolest guy in 60s cinema .... then the coolest guy on 60s TV has to Richard Bradford. McQueen and Bradford appeared together in An Enemy of the People.

His coolness extended to his dancing, if you watch his moves, timeless, if you look at the crowd very 1960,s. I believe that Richard Bradford did such a good job on this series, and looked good and cool and slim, that he did not mind growing fat and old. He can always look back and say man I was some dude.

Bradford was worthy of better support though. I've watched a few episodes again and Bradford is superb but some of the support acting is woeful. Also the scripting and the pace of some of the dialogue is very dull. The difference when Bradford gets his lines is staggering. It could have been so much better. Maybe the fact it was in colour makes a difference. Danger Man's final episode was awful, although Koroshi was okay. I fancy the directors were more taken up with the scenery than the acting.

I would definitely take MIAS to my desert island. I'd go nutty enough on my own, without watching The Paranoid over and over again.......

The theme was the best ever too, so I'd like to listen to that over and over.
