I think you'll find that was Frank Muir, Nick!

Also, if anybody's interested, you can find a couple of those Holsten Pils ads with Griff Rhys Jones on YouTube.

Starry x.

I am glad I have found someone else who remembers those Arthur Lowe adverts. "I only wanted some hanky panky".

Thank you once again Mr Bats! And I've noticed that you do not seem to need much of an excuse to post another photo of the delicious Mrs Lawson.

Now what do we think of the current Baileys ad? I have to admit that I find it quite amusing, but does anyone recognise the actress/model who permitted the software magicians to perform those dreadful manipulations on her face?

Do you reckon her slow mo face has been manipulated? I couldn't work out whether that was the case or whether shaking your head violently and showing it in very slow mo would actually render those expressions for real!! ( don't try it in the mirror, it will give you a headache.... )

I'd like to see Brando's whisky commercial! I think lots of big name stars have been paid huge amounts of money for appearing in Japanese commercials ( as depicted in "Lost in Translation") which are never aired outside Japan, so the stars can keep it as their own little secret!

Wonderful!

I hang up my shirt that way as well, but I don't splash half a bottle of smelly stuff over my torso

No, there were several of these and Cardew was in at least one of them. He was a cad in a flat cap driving a sports car. It may have had Frank Muir as the "host", but they were shown an awfully long time ago!
