Default News At Ten Return

Am I alone in thinking that ITN have gone slightly over the top with the New News at Ten Music ....

Have a Listen to the Drums that play just before Big Ben Chimes....It sounds Rather Like the Drums used in the Famous Kubrick film 2001

Stanley Kubrick Presents News at Ten !!!

To be honest,I can't see what the fuss is about its return. It is another news bulletin, which is shown at 10 o'clock - that's it!

I believe that "Five" are rubbing their hands with glee, as now that's two channels tied up with the same news for an hour! OK, now lets see some good drama choices.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR...YOU MAY GET IT!

They've lost their audience to the BBC news broadcast at the same time anyway. That dreadful comedy news crap with Trevor McDonald and awfully unfunny sidekicks last year made the knighted newscaster lose all credibility, so why would we want to switch back for the serious stuff?

Rarely watch news bulletins at ten anyhow.

Usually watch Newsnight if only to see Paxo's exasperation at having to read the latest missive about the BBC website at the close.

I never watch ITV news (ITN) as it's so unprofessional -In fact I call it the Dandy/Beano show because it's do dumbed down. Strangely enough my favourite news slot is Channel 4 news and it's also made by ITN - why is it so different?

Always found ITV news to be very sensationalist and the Beeb very impersonal.

Watch more Brit movies instead, much more believable!
