Slightly off topic but funnily enough a friend of mine who'd moved into his girlfriend's flat, rented his house out to a newly arrived Polish family, if indeed they were a family. Within a couple of weeks the neighbours complained to him because they were using the place as a brothel. The two teenage daughters, if indeed they were their daughters, and the mother, if indeed she was their mother, were bringing men back at all hours of the day and night whilst the father, if indeed he was their father, sat outside smoking most of the time in one of the armchairs from the living room!

He had a devil of a job getting rid of them and he had the DSS on his back for weeks accusing him of all sorts of victimisation, and he was painted as an unscrupulous landlord. He called the police in the end who raided the place, but no charges were ever brought and the family were rehoused by social services. Needless to say, despite their earnings they failed to pay any rent or utility bills, and as he'd felt sorry for them when they arrived my friend had only taken a week's deposit from them when they moved in!

There's something not quite right about this country!

Silly boy! You were on the wrong side of the house! If you'd actually gone round to the front, you'd have been able to join the queue.

Wasn't the red light working?

I had to get rid of it - the neighbours said that it 'lowered the tone' of the street but I've found that the flashing orange one works just as well.

Oh, Bats - now everybody knows that you pay for my Super-Deluxe Executive Package (with a free keyring).

I do hope that's sorted now then............
