Vera Duckworth

Just thought I would mention the retirement of Elizabeth Dawn who plays 'Our Vera'. Sadly it is through ill health.

She has been with Coronation Street since 1972 and I simply want to wish her all the best. Corrie has been a constant throughout a lot of peoples' lifes and even when the show was going through a bad patch you could always rely on Jack and Vera to fly the standard. (apart from when he dressed as a woman)
