EVIL - to make me choose between those two - but I just had to opt for Hancock's Half Hour as the true classics they are. Always loved THE GOOD LIFE too, esp. the Xmas episode where Penny Keith does some sublime comedy playing, letting us see deep into Margot's heart and psyche, without tipping the balance into maudlin sentimentality...

Again a hard choice, but the sheer mesmerism of Hawthorne's amazing wordplay as Sir Humphrey just wins out by a narrow squeak. This may just be because at the moment I feel that I am just too familiar with S&S...

A doddle really when I consider all the Hancock episodes I enjoy. Choosing between Whatever Happened To and Blackadder was a tad trickier as I love them both to death.
