Default Children's TV

Can anyone remember anything about a children's tv series called "Tinga and Tucker" (two koala bears) hosted by Jean Morton (I think) from the 60's (I think)?

There's nothing on IMDB.

Also what were your favourite children's programmes?

No. 1: Torchy the Battery Boy!

Ho ho ho Aunty Jean. Remember well, a contemporary of Crackerjack.
There's a good thread on page 2 -kids TV in the 60's started by Brett Sinclair.

Weren't they called Tinker and Tucker, and I believe they promoted road safety, encouraging children to cross the roads safely. If you got it right, you got a Tinker and Tucker badge.

Tinga and Tucka, as I recall. Their song went:

Boomerang, boomerang,
This is our song.
Merrily, merrily
We go along.
Boomerang, boomerang,
Look over there -
It's Tinga and Tucka
The two little bears.

. . . and new thumbscrews for me . . .

I have 1 episode of Tinga & Tucka Club if anyones interested!

In this episode she reads out childrens birthdays of the day, and also shows picture of a girl and her baby brother and actually reads out her address(dont think this would happen today) would be great if they were britmovie members!
