I like the Specsavers advert with the Scottish shepherd.shearing his own dog. The vocals is Una Palliser singing Mo Ghile Mear.

The Volkswagen Golf advert where various characters held up placards to say what they actually did/thought rather than what their conventional looks led us to believe.

I was particularly struck by the chap at the station with a lovely smirk - At weekends my name's Mandy.

I know that this is supposed to be a UK website and based on all things British, but can I get away, just this once with a very funny commercial here in the Philippines, they don't even know how funny it is.

This commercial is to do with a femine wash product and there is a very beautiful woman telling other women about how great it is and how it makes her feel so fresh and clean.

Sitting next to her is her real husband who actually backs her up and says "It is the best around".

How does he know?

I fell off my chair laughing much to the wonderment of my good lady whom, bless her heart, I had to explain why I thought it was so funny. No comments please.

When you're writing your message, click on the icon

That will put into your message.
Look at the address (URL) of the YouTube clip
There will be a value in there like watch?v=2IIl3zSYL8k
You want the bit after the v= and paste that into the YOUTUBE markup like 2IIl3zSYL8k[

Easy innit

It makes you wonder that if an ad is so good, you forget what the product is and therefore defeating the objective!

It's often the case. People can often describe an ad in some detail - but can't remember what it was for.

But some of our finest directors have cut their teeth by making ads.
It's good training because you have to be really precise to fit your message into such a small time-slot.

Nokia ran a prize competition for videos made to be shown on mobile phones. They not only had to be compact and precise but also very clear so that the story was visible on a small screen
