Default Anybody know viewing figures are at their lowest on TV?

Anybody know viewing figures over a year are at their lowest on TV?- from say 8am- 12 am( to stop the forum jokers quipping in with 5am or some other nonsense) , i reckon in the summer evenings when people would prefer to enjoy the rare summer sunshine and make most of the longer days- thats just my theory

I hear the Union Jack still remains.I see Namijira in custody
and I see Truganini's in chains.

Now this is just a guess. Could it be because most people are at work?

PLEASE NOTE - this is a general historical question and NOT a comment on the low standards of TV today

and I see Truganini's in chains.

But what's the question? If you're looking for the lowest average viewing figures then presumably it was in 1932 when the BBC began broadcasting to about 12 people.

Let.s revert to having just three channels and bring back in vision continuity announcers and programmes like the Morecambe and Wise Show, Laurel and Hardy on a Saturday Morning and at Yuletide.

Much better than thousands of channels of cack including awful here today gone tomorrow Johnnies on MTV and dreadfully patronising adverts , Injury Lawyese for You, The Dreaded June Whitfield advert............Trinnie and Susana, anything starring James Nesbit.

To be honest I hate most modern day tv. I do however love,"Everybody Loves Raymond." and "Frasier." and bring back the test card.

Well done its criminaly neglected over here, a fantastic cast especially Peter Boyle and Brad as Garrett. Nice to hear from a fellow fan. As someone involved with the show said,"It's a show with heart" Couldnt put it better myself.
