He was at number 1 with Out Of Time when England won the FA Cup in 1966. He never had another number 1 hit,and England haven't had any use for Duraglit since.

I think Chris Farlowe was a Militaria dealer on Upper Street in the late 70's. For some reason the name "Call To Arms" comes to mind. As for Immediate I don't think there were any lucky ones as far as getting paid went, with the possible exception of Andrew Loog Oldham.

Chris Farlowe is still performing on the nostalgia circuit package shows.
I saw Dave Dee of Dave Dee Dozy Beeky Mick and Tich a few weeks ago on one such show and the band were excellent. I think a lot of these old sixties stars have day jobs these days Dave Dee is a businessman and also a Justice of the Peace. |
