I think Freddy Frinton appeared once on the show and also Victor Borge did and I think he once played a drunk.

I've just been working my way through the 'Dean Martin Roasts'. Wow, what treats they are - the very cream of US comedy, funny, funny guys having a good time. The Americans are brilliant at 'big' comedy like this. Nothing like it now, sadly.
