Me neither ... he's a big chap. He was excellent in the TV film Yuma, which is well worth a look and can be bought very cheaply on ebay.

Jack Kelly appeared in Maverick as Bart, who was Bret's brother. Then came Roger Moore as an English cousin Beau, and finally a third brother Brent Maverick appeared played by Robert Colbert.

Anyone remember 'The Dakotas' with Jack Elam, Chad Everett and Larry Ward?

Blimey! Sounds like an episode of Eastenders or Coronation Street as the previously unknown relatives arrive like a fleet of double-deckers

I loved Branded. Jason McCord (Chuck Connors - another big chap) and his broken sabre.

Some more Western TV Series you may remember if like myself you are of that generation!

'The Range Rider' with Jock Mahoney and Dick Jones. 'Jocko' also starred in 'Yancy Derringer.'
'Whispering Smith' starring Guy Mitchell and Audie Murphy was a short lived series based on the Alan Ladd film from the late forties. The longest running TV Western series included 'Gun smoke' with James Arness, 'Bonanza' with Lorne Green etc, 'Wagon Train' with Ward Bond etc, and 'The Virginian' with James Drury et al. 'The Westerner' with Brian Keith ran for only thirteen episodes!

The Westerner was the brainchild of Sam Peckinpah and is an excellent series, definitely Brian Keith's finest hour.

Unfortunately only one episode of Whispering Smith appears to survive. Being an Audie Murphy fan I would love to see it.

We're just of that generation Batboy!

Do you remember going around the neighbourhood, dressed as a cowboy, with all your mates? We chased all the injuns outta Hertfordshire single handed but at great expenditure of caps!! Ah, I love the smell of cap guns in the morning.....

I remember Cade's County .... another good series. Richard Widmark did a pilot for a similar sort of programme called Brock's Last Case but a series never developed. Shame.

Edit - I just noticed that it's the young Martin Sheen in that clip!
