i never watch most haunted but the other night my girlfriend forced me to sit through it, christopher biggins was excellent especially his face when the lift came up and no one pressed the button

I accept that their could well be an afterlife however i remember seing an article about this programme in one of the national papers some time ago. There had been criticism of some aspects of the show, and following an interview with one of the producers or someone in the know they admitted that a lot of the programme was faked, making the excuse that it was for entertainment and if nothing was seen to happen then nobody would look at it.

Spirits may well exist in one form or another but I think it has been established beyond doub that you are never going to find any by going out looking for them.

It would be a help if we could separate the genuine mediums, and I am sure there are a few around, from the many fakes.

Most Haunted has certainly had it's day.
The team certainly visit some very interesting places but as far as their "investigation" is concerned it's all too predictable.

If you watch the earlier episodes of MH you will find hardly a stone being thrown.
Now every episode is full of dull thumps and rock throwing.

I believe a better hauntings program has been made in the US and it's called Ghost Hunters.
Their investigation team, although being believers in the spirit world, firstly try to debunk reported sightings. They have had some shows where absolutely nothing happens and this makes the show appear the more genuine.
The show also has recorded some unexplained phenomenon along the way.
Season 4 showing in the US now has captured some very convincing evidence.

They did an investigation at Chillingham castle a while ago. I do believe there is something there. I visited the chapel there once and saw mist appear by the alter.

But I dont watch MH anymore. The one in Translavania was interesting because of its history but thats all. Carl being possesed at the end (because they found nothing else) REALLY made my mind up not to tune in again!
