Default Seventies Fitness Show

Who remembers a fitness show calle,"Boomph With Becker." a short lived shown on BBC one in about 1971. Becker was an overbearing middle aged Woman, a sort of Fanny Cradock of the fitness show. A presursor of the Green Goddess.

I remember Yoga with Richard Hittleman and also Yoga with Lynn Marshall who passed away some years ago.

Sue Becker came to Australia and her "fitness" programs on the ABC television took off like a rocket. Her "gravel" voice was a feature of her on-screen presence, and she went on to do talkback radio.

She lived in Tasmania then Queensland and, IIRC, only relatively recently passed away.

This is war Wilson, not Sainsburys!
