Can anyone out there remember this play being shown on TV, I think it was the very early 60's. I've just read the book and I'm curious to know who was in it. I can just remember it being shown and causing quite a stir, but nothing else. I do remember it got a mention in a humorous light in an episode of Bootsie and Snudge!

I remember the play! I am sure Alan Wheatley (Sheriff of Nottingham) was in it!

Thanks for that, Captain, hree excellent actors there, I'd love to know the rest of the cast though. I would imagine the play's been wiped and has gone for ever, unless, of course, somebody out there.........?
