Default Have You Ever Been On A TV Quiz Show?
If so what was it and when. How did you feel about watching yourself? What (if anything) happened as a result? (eg people taking to you about it) What did you win? And why did you go on it in the first place?
I would love to hear your story...

Yes .... but not as a contestant. When I was young, svelte and gorgeous (in the 70s) I modeled sheepskin car coats on Sale of the Century.
I wish I had claws.

Yes.
I was on the Red Dwarf 10th Anniversary Universe Challenge quiz in 1998.
It had five fans vs five cast members and hosted by Bamber Gasgoine!
It was a fun days filming and Bamber was an absolute pleasure putting us all at ease.
About an hours worth of filming was edited down to a 30 min show.
Best of all I got the winning answer!

Yep, I've been on telly.

At the start of the Falklands War , I was a busy little radio ham passing messages back and forth to worried relatives.

Someone told Granda TV and I had a short spot on the local news. It came over very well and 20 years later people were still asking me " was that you on TV during the Falklands War".

Well that was my 15 minutes of fame and good it was too.
