Default Big Breadwinner Hog

This was a drama series in the (I think) late 1960s starring Peter Egan. Has it ever been shown since or released on DVD?

It was released on DVD by Network last year in a boxset with the series Spindoe. It's available from all the usual online sellers plus Network themselves. Tesco have it in their sale at the moment for about a tenner.

Don't miss out on a chance to win a rare film in Bat-Quiz 13 closing date - 31/8/8.

Thanks for that, bats, have to call in Tescos and look for that set; never seen Big Breadwinner Hog, but I remember Spindoe very well, an excellent series

Possibly not .... it was removed from the schedules in England and shoved to the graveyard slot 'cos of the subject matter and alleged extreme violence.

I doubt you'll find it in-store but it's readily available online. Cheapest appears to be £12 from Tesco Jersey:

I remember watching it as a kid. A girl attacked with a razor in a drinking club. Then a bloke doused with acid.
Think the gang drove an Austin Champ (ex-army Jeep type vehicle).
Sadly these days thats normal behaviour.

yes it was normal when I was young you could buy these Champs quite cheap as war surplus, they had a Rolls Royce engine which made them an attractive proposition and they were cheap
