Default Sword of Freedom

I used to love this after school, whatever happened to Edmund Purdom.

He acted right through to 2001 when he stopped working at the age of 77. He now lives happily in retirement.

Don't miss out on a chance to win a rare film in Bat-Quiz 13 closing date - 31/8/8.

Good actor. He relocated to Italy in the late 1950's cashing in on his Sword of Freedom success in a few Italian swashbucklers. He then went on to appear in loads of historical, crime. horror and sci fi movies on the continent.

He was not always too choosy and ended up in a few real stinkers and even a couple of video nasties. Stll alive, but now retired.

He always reminded me of a darker haired Stewart Granger, handsome too.

Time for me - once again - to ask when Network are going to release "Sword of Freedom" as a DVD box set.

It appeared in Network's release schedules a while ago - then disappeared.

At that time Network assured me that this didn't mean they weren't going to release it - only that it wasn't in the then-current release plans.
