Default Real Life Spy Play

Does anybody else remember a BBC TV one off play from the early seventies about the capture of two real life spies. The action mostly took place in the house of the couple's friends who lived across the road. The couple were forced in to putting aside their friendship to aide British Inteligence to spy on their every move to find where they were contacting the Russians.
The most memorable scene was when the couple were nearly caught out because an inteligence officer left behind an umbrella.

Are you thinking of the 60s film version ...

Ring of Spies (1964)

Don't miss out on a chance to win a rare film in Bat-Quiz 13 closing date - 31/8/8.

'Ring of Spies' is a little bit before my time. If I can find the name of the spies i should be able to work out the name of the play.
As far I remember this couple were Soviet spies who did a runner from America before the authorities could catch them. Setting up home in the UK they carried on spying unaware that British Inteligence had tracked them down and were monitering their every move to could catch their contacts. Once caught they were later traded back to the Sovet Union for a British spy.
I should also point out this drama was broadcast in the 'Paul Temple' slot on a Sunday night and even had the same production values

Probably they deemed it too controversial.
