can anyone tell me what happened to Nurse Carole Brown, the cute blonde from Emergency ward ten, I think she was married to John Alderton back then.

In the series or in real life?
Jill Browne, as is known, died from cancer in 1991, but I do remember an article about her in the TV Times, possibly mid to late 60's or even early 70's, in which she told of how she had been working in an office or possibly as a receptionist since the demise of the series.
