I remember it - it was by N J Crisp, and it was very good. Glyn Houston was indeed in it, he played Simon Fisher Turner's Dad. Highlights of it were a scene where the leather clad motorcyclist baddie, played by Hilary minster, fell off a cliff. Ths was after he had peered through the back window of an Austin Maxi , where Jan Francis, was hiding under a blanket. There was also another scene where there was an assassination IIRC at the Edinburgh tattoo. Would love to see it again.

Yes I remember the Long Chase. It was shown on SuperChannel many years ago. I saw some of it being filmed in Edinburgh and I had a nice chat with Simon Turner who at that time had appeared in lots of programmes i.e. The SIlver Sword, Tom Brown's Schooldays, The Intruder etc. As the Long Chase was made all on film I would have thought that some DVD company would have rerleased it - but I have been told that shows written by N.J. Crisp (As this was) are difficult to clear rights wise.

I remember enjoying the 1968 incarnation of Sexon Blake made by Thames in 1968, I think one of the forum members replied to one of my posts and mentioned that only one episode survied.

One of my favourite shows as a teenager on ITV was a series called The Kids From 47a, a series about a family who lost both parents and were looked after by their older sister, never hear anyone recall this show nowadays, no doubt its been wiped, made by ATV I think.
