Best Of British - Britmovie

For a forum dedicated to British film,I must admit I am surprised no one has ever mentioned the oft shown Best of British,which was dedicated to British film. It was narrated by two stalwarts of the British film industry Richard Attenborough and John Mills. Often the programme's praise on certain films was just,but now and again it tended to overlaud some that were not "the Best of British". I loved the music from the series and tried as I could to get a copy of it,I failed.

You mean just the music Marky, or the show as a whole ?

I've got most of them (not all) somewhere - I'm after HOLLYWOOD UK ; I just found out my master of eps 1&2 has a running tape fault in it, and I've no idea where I recorded episode 6 [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blushing.gif[/img]

I just acquired THE GOLDEN GONG - the story of Rank at Pinewood on a US DVD. Anyone remember it ? the book says it was a series, yet the DVD seems to be a one-shot of just 76 mins...

Mr. Crook - can you clarify anything about the programme ?

I checked the good old imdb, and amazon US have a r1 dvd of this PROG,So depending how desperate you are to get the theme,this is way to get both.
I also did a quick theme search for an mp3 of the above but no luck yet.
