This week it seems to be repeats of `wire in the blood`, on last night and another two episodes tonight. They will be showing other programmes in the coming weeks such as the Ruth Rendell mysteries too.

I've been really enjoying this season. Watched all the Rebus shows last week plus the documentary on Ian Rankin and have watched all this week's Val McDermid offerings.

Again the documentary on her writing and how it is interpreted for the screen was interesting.

I'm looking forward to the Ruth Rendell equivalent, but must admit I'm not a big Morse fan so may give those a miss.

My only complaint is that while all the listings say that the programmes start on the hour they don't actually start till nearer five past which I find annoying!

I havent seen any of the documentaries yet. I would like to see them as I can never get it around my head what makes a crime writer tick. They must be very clever to get into the mind of both the killer and those trying to track them down.

They must really be up on thier psychology.
