Nickelback are a hugely successful Canadian, post-grunge rock band.
I have a bit of a penchant for ‘man of the people’ commercial rock music and they are the finest example of recent years! I also like a smattering of Pearl Jam and I’ve got a Green Day CD which I am only allowed to play in the car with the windows shut.

It’s not high art - but, think about this – Nickelback were a covers band that went on to achieve their dream. Most of the lyrics don’t make any sense and Chad Kroeger always appears as though he is still in a bar playing ZZ Top covers. But, to me, that just adds to the appeal.

Look at the video for ‘Rockstar’ – it says it all! Love it. OK, I like it a bit!

I don't like Prefab sprout - although I thought the song you put up was reasonable.

I doubt that Chad Kroeger is gay though, seriously. I'd be interested to see someone suggest to Chad Kroeger - to his face - that he is gay..I mean, it wouldn't bother me ..but still..

Well, DFS aren't catching me out

Each Christmas I watch their ads which say DFS best ever sale.

Well, I'm going to give 2009 a miss and go for 2010
