Default Welsh Soaps?

Besides Pobol y Cwm (Welsh language) I can't really think of any besides..

Taff Acre (filmed in Llantrisant I think)
Ennal's Point (filmed in either Mumbles or Gower)

Has there been any others?

Nuts and Bolts most of it filmed in Merthyr, some scenes were shot in the former Narrow Gauge pub, a watering hole that was one of my locals for a while.

If you watch the comedy High Hopes you will probbly be aware that its filmed in Porth and also parts of Merthyr.

Real soaps? Or just TV series set and made in Wales?
There have been other series like "Y Ty" (2002), an 8-part Welsh series focusing on the loves and lives of a group of young people living in student accommodation in Cardiff.

Or "Y Pris" (2007) [aka Sopranos by the Sea ]. A 6 part series about a pair of Welsh gangsters.

"Satellite City" (1996) was more of a comedy series than a drama. Based around the misadventures of the Price family, and set in a forgotten town in the Rhondda valley. That ran through 3 seasons to 1998.

Halen yn y Gwaed was a serial about Coast Guards - not sure if it qualifies as a soap. I was in an episode of that - I was also in episodes of Pobol y Cwm and Taff Acre (which I filmed in Llantrisant). Taff Acre was an english language production. Bowen a'i Bartner was another home based BBC series and The Inheritors was an HTV serial.

I asked him to look at the body. That's who he is.
