Default 1960's ITV series

An ITV series of the early 1960's I particularly enjoyed watching was 'Tales of Mystery' with John Laurie of Dad's Army fame, who adopted the guise of writer Algernon Blackwood. The series ran from 1961 to 1963 and there were 29 episodes. It would be nice to watch this series again.

I remember it well - used to go out on a Saturday night where I lived. Absolutely terrified me and everyone else at school. Even when I saw JL in "Dad's Army" I was still scared of him!

i think this series was deleted a long time ago-there's hardly been any algernon blackwood stories adapted for tv,which is a shame-maybe the bbc will use one of his tales this christmas ('the listener' would be good) but i doubt it!

''no diggin'!!!!!!''
