The complete 'Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads' series 1 is due out on DVD next Monday (15/5/06) with the complete series 2 coming on 7th August.

In other words, he really didn't want to talk about it. I felt sad to hear that from an actor whose work as a whole, I very much respect. By constrast, I've heard Rodney Bewes interviewed and he talked of the series with much affection. In fact, that he made a cameo appearence when the 1973 episode 'No Hiding Place' was remade with And & Dec playing the lead roles. |

The bbc shop is offering the complete (as possible) boxset for £24.44 delivered. BBC Shop - Whatever Happened to The Likely Lads: Series 1-3 Boxset (DVD) That's the best price i've found anyway......
