I'm not so sure it's 'Family Money' that I'm looking for and the fact that the tv/films listings sites show her as only showing up in one episode throws me as I'm sure she shows up throughout the short series.

Close to the start, IIRC she is mugged but then crosses paths with her mugger, who has previously been watching the house from across a canal or river. As to family, they are either trying to get her to move out of the house and live with them or trying to get her paired off with various gentlemen whom she is friendly with but not romantically inclined to.

The final scene I remember is of her drinking something like champagne on an airliner, the storyline is that she has probably decided to emigrate - and to hell with her meddling and greedy kids!
