Early doors series 2 is being repeated on BBC1 on Wednesdays for those that haven't seen it or want to see it again. It's worth watching just for the two dodgy police characters Phil and Nige. As the BBC comedy site describes them:

a pair of uniformed cops, Phil and Nige - corrupt, lazy, incompetent wastrels who drink (for free) on duty, deal in stolen goods and use police equipment for private purposes.

Sorry I'm a bit late with this as they are already two episodes into the six episode series.

Cheers,
A

An unsung hero of a sitcom. I laugh like Peggy Mount and Sid James in a laughing competition when watching this, something I haven't done since the last re-run of Fawlty Towers.

John Henshaw is just a brilliant actor whatever he's in, and as Ken he is priceless. Never mind The Office, The Grapes is where real life and comedy is to be found!

"...the chairman of Littlewoods stores made a Keynote speech!"

'Early Doors' is good. So is 'Still Game'. If you missed that you missed a good last episode in the series.
