I read about this series, and saw on the IMDb page that at least some of it was readily available on VHS, so, like the trusting fool that I am, I quickly ordered it through an Amazon.com marketplace seller.

Little did I know what I would get would be nothing more than a documentary on the reign of King Richard. Sometime I will watch it in its entirety, as I am sure it will make for an interesting history lesson, but it is by no means what I wanted. In retrospect, I did think getting the tape was awfully easy, considering the age of the series.

Thank goodness I didn't pay a great deal for the tape. Though I have to say I feel cheated. Here is the IMDb.com page, with the VHS clearly pictured.

Bad luck. There's not a lot of information available about it. The Amazon.co.uk review does mention "re-enactments" but that's about the only clue.

Maybe you should write a few reviews for Amazon & the IMDb so that others know about it as well.

That's a good idea, Steve. I can at least save others from buying something they might not want.
