Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Posts: 54 iTrader: (0)	Does anyone else remember the series shown on ITV in 1991/92 or thereabouts about the forged 'Hitler Diaries'? I remember that it starred Alexei Sayle as the forger with Barry Humphries doing a credible cameo as Rupert Murdoch. It was a funny programme and a good reminder of the Dirty Digger getting fleeced.

I remember the series and it was quite good. I think Alexei Sayle and Barry Humphries was in it.
I always remember the late,great Bob Monkhouse remarking on how they realised the diaries were fake and it was all down to the last entry:"Today I shot myself and I felt really burned up about it" [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif[/img] [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif[/img]
